Nootka Sound enjoyed a great fishing year in 2004 along
with the rest of the West Coast. One reason people enjoy
Nootka Sound is the calm water along with plenty of fish.
Many people love the taste of salmon and halibut
and Nootka Sound offers a place to come without the
threat of sea sickness and swells.
Getting to Nootka Sound is not as easy as some places
such as Ucluelet and Port Renfrew. You can either fly
in or drive west from Cambell River a few hours on paved
and dirt roads.
